Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and Public Holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. In most cases, if you order non-plant products before 12.00pm (Melbourne Time) we will endeavour to ship the same day. Our busiest order processing times are after the weekend where we will be shipping orders as soon as possible in order of the date/time received.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Many of our items have Free Shipping and this is stated on the product page for the item. Shipping will automatically be calculated at checkout. Free Shipping is Standard Delivery and can be upgraded to Express Delivery for an additional fee. Orders containing Plants will be sent exclusively via Express Post.
We ship using Australia Post parcel delivery and all orders offer tracking. Australia Post is continuing to experience some delays processing parcels, and you can review the current delivery estimates for your order here.

All plant orders are sent exclusively via Express Post to ensure they get to you as healthy as possible. The price of shipping your plants will be automatically calculated at checkout and varies on the size and type of plant/s that you order Shipping prices are starting at $15.00 AUD Please be aware that we may delay the shipment of a plant order on a Thursday or Friday if we determine that it may not reach you by Friday or if the plant is sensitive to spending the weekend in transit. In this case, your order will be dispatched the next business day after the weekend. If you prefer that we ship your order as soon as possible, please let us know by sending an email to hello@theplantboys.au or replying to your order confirmation email. |

If you purchase items that qualify for both Free Shipping and Paid Express Delivery, such as Plants, we will make every effort to send all your items together as Express Delivery, as long as they can fit in the same box or parcel. However, if the size or packing requirements necessitate it, we might need to split your delivery and send your Free Shipping items separately through Standard Delivery. Rest assured; you will receive email notifications for each shipment along with the individual tracking numbers. If you prefer to have all your items sent via Express Delivery, kindly inform us by sending an email to hello@theplantboys.au or replying to your order confirmation email. Please note that additional shipping charges may apply to upgrade your entire order to Express Delivery. |
Multiple orders
If you have placed multiple orders with us, please notify us via email at hello@theplantboys.au. We will gladly combine your orders if possible and refund any saved shipping costs.
Plant delivery
We ship our plants to non-quarantine states in Australia (all except NT, TAS, WA).
Plants are shipped exclusively via Australia Post Express Post and will be packaged to make the journey to your place.
If you have any issues with your delivery, please contact us as soon as you receive your item, preferably with photos.
Local delivery
FREE local delivery is available for orders over and including $25 AUD within 1 kilometre of post code 3004. If your shipping address is located in this area, the option will become available during order checkout. We do not offer local delivery on orders under $25 AUD.
Deliveries are made from 12pm-6pm on weekdays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.
In-store pickup
We are an online only business and currently do not offer pickup.
International Shipping
We currently do not offer International Shipping. If you are interested in our products and are located outside of Australia, contact us by email hello@theplantboys.au and we can provide an estimate to ship to your country.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@theplantboys.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes and Parcel Lockers
We ship using Australia Post and can deliver to PO Boxes, Australia Post Parcel Lockers and Australia Post Parcel Collect locations.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. Read our full Refund policy here.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@theplantboys.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
