Hoya polyneura 'Albomarginata'

Hoya polyneura 'Albomarginata' is a rare variegated form of the much-loved Fish Tail Hoya, grown for its elegant, elongated leaves with creamy margins and rich green centres. The paired leaves grow along trailing vines, giving the plant a graceful shape that suits hanging pots, trellises, and elevated shelves.
This listing is for our soil-style CocoLite-grown stock. CocoLite gives the roots an airy, free-draining medium while still holding enough moisture for steady growth, making it a practical option for indoor Hoya growers who prefer a more traditional pot setup than semi-hydro.
Place this Hoya in bright indirect light, keep it warm, and let the medium partially dry between waterings. Like many thinner-leaved Hoyas, it prefers consistent care without being kept wet for long periods or left completely dry for extended stretches.
| Flowers | Creamy-lemon reflexed flowers, around 15mm in diameter, with red corona. Lightly scented and nectar-producing, with up to 10 flowers per umbel on mature plants. |
| Position | Bright indirect light. Gentle morning sun may be tolerated, but avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun. |
| Temperature | Prefers warm to mild indoor conditions and should be protected from cold. |
| Water | Water when the growing medium has partly dried. Keep slightly drier in cooler weather and avoid prolonged sogginess. |
| Fertiliser | Apply a weak balanced fertiliser during active growth in spring and summer. |
| Repotting | Repot only when well established, using a loose, airy epiphytic mix with good drainage. |
| Pet Friendly | Yes, Hoyas are generally considered pet friendly. |
May also be known as: Variegated Fish Tail Hoya, Variegated Fishtail Hoya, Hoya polyneura 'Albo'.
