Add a vibrant splash of tropical elegance to your home with the Calathea crocata, aptly named the Eternal Flame Plant. True to its name, it produces bright, flame-like orange flowers that rise above the foliage, bringing warmth and charm to any room.
Position | Keep in a bright well-lit area or provide additional light. Avoid heaters and draughty positions. |
Temperature | Temperatures above 20c will speed up growth, between 10 and 20c growth will be slow and plants can be pruned to keep compact. This Calathea is hardy but will not survive outdoors in cold climates. |

I WAS GREATLY IMPRESSED WITH THE FINE PLANT WHEN IT ARRIVED. IT HAS HOWEVER GONE BACKWARDS IN MY CARE AND I HOPE I DON'T LOSE IT. THE LEAVES CURL UP AND ONLY REVIVED ON GETTING SOME RAIN OVERNIGHT. I KEEP IT INSIDE AND WATER IT WEEKLY. IS THIS SUFFICIENT? IT SEEMS HAPPIER NOW IN A JARDENIER. I WONDERED IF IT NEED REPOTTING WITH MORE POTTING MIX. PLEASE ADVISE.
