Spider Plant is a houseplant classic for good reason, forming a fountain of arching green-and-cream foliage that brings instant movement to shelves, desks and plant stands. As it matures, it can send out long stems carrying tiny white flowers and baby plantlets.
Easygoing, fast growing and forgiving of the occasional missed watering, this is a brilliant choice for newer plant owners as well as anyone who loves a lush, grassy texture. The variegated leaves also stay bright without demanding a spot in direct sun.
| Position | Bright, indirect light is ideal, although it will tolerate medium indoor light. Protect from harsh direct sun. |
| Temperature | Comfortable in normal indoor temperatures. Protect from frost, cold drafts and prolonged temperatures below 10°C. |
