Size

Epipremnum pinnatum 'Skeleton Key' is a climbing aroid with a lean, tropical look and a softer lime-green tone that feels fresh and architectural at the same time. This form is loved for its narrow juvenile foliage and vining habit, giving it that light, airy presence that works beautifully on a trellis, pole or shelf where the growth can start to wander.

For collectors, Skeleton Key has a distinct personality within the Epipremnum pinnatum group. It brings that easy indoor jungle feel of a classic climbing pothos, but with a more unusual silhouette that suits modern spaces just as well as fuller plant corners.

Position Keep in a bright, well-lit spot with indirect light for the best shape and stronger growth. It can handle lower light, but growth may slow and become more open. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, heaters and cold draughts.
Temperature Prefers warm indoor conditions. Growth is strongest above 20°C, will slow between 15°C and 20°C, and should be protected from long periods below 12°C.
Water Water thoroughly, then allow the potting mix to dry down before watering again. Reduce watering in cooler weather and never let the plant sit in excess water.
Fertiliser Feed during the warmer growing months with a balanced indoor plant fertiliser at reduced strength. Larger, actively climbing plants will appreciate regular feeding through spring and summer.
Repotting Repot only when the root system is established and the plant is drying out too quickly. Move up one pot size and use a free-draining indoor mix.
Pet Friendly Not pet friendly.
