The Ficus Benjamina 'Variegata', also known as the Weeping Fig, is a striking variegated version of the popular houseplant, known for its elegant, arching branches and glossy green-and-white leaves. The creamy edges of the leaves make it a standout addition to any room, offering a subtle brightness while maintaining its signature leafy texture. It’s a great plant for adding height and interest to indoor spaces, with its graceful, airy form.
| Position | Keep in some bright indirect light or provide artificial light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn. |
| Temperature | Keep it in a warm room where temperatures stay between 18-24°C. It doesn't appreciate cold drafts, so be sure to protect it from chilly windows or air conditioning vents, especially in winter. |
| Water | Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums, potting mix should be allowed to almost dry between waterings. Keep on the dry side in winter. |
| Fertiliser | Weak dose regularly in warmer months. Only fertilise if you would like the plant to grow. |
| Repotting | Only when plant is well advanced in pot or mid-spring. |
