LECA is Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate a man-made material that is very porous which allows moisture to be absorbed while also remaining very light and airy. LECA works very well to add aeration and drainage into potting mediums or soil as an additive. It can also be used to grow plants in as a soil replacement or hydroponic growing medium.

LECA can also be known as Clay Pebbles or Hydroton.

• Please rinse LECA with water before first use to remove any dust that has formed during shipping and transport.
• Our LECA is sold by volume and is measured at the time of packing, some settling of contents may occur during shipping.
