Discover the enchanting Vanilla Planifolia Variegata, a rarer variant of the world-renowned vanilla orchid. This striking plant weaves a delicate tapestry of light green leaves, each adorned with a creamy variegation that trails along its length like a painter's brushstroke.

Famed for producing the vanilla pods cherished by culinary aficionados, this variegated version adds a twist of visual flair to its aromatic charm. In its natural habitat, it would climb towards the forest canopy, but in your home, it becomes a conversation piece, a botanical rarity that exudes elegance and intrigue.

With its trailing growth and propensity for dappled sunlight, the Vanilla Planifolia Variegata is a testament to the extraordinary diversity of the orchid family. Each leaf unfurls to reveal new patterns of variegation, ensuring that no two plants are exactly alike. Embrace the unique splendour of the Vanilla Planifolia Variegata and indulge in the essence of tropical paradise.

Position Unusual indoor plant, or outside in tropical gardens over 15c
Temperature Temperatures above 20c will speed up growth, between 15 and 20c growth will be slow and plants can be pruned to keep compact. Long periods below 15c may cause plants to rot; dead leaves should be removed.
Water Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums, potting mix should be allowed to almost dry between waterings. Keep on the dry side in winter.
Fertiliser Weak dose regularly in warmer months. Only fertilise if you would like the plant to grow. Less fertiliser will keep plants shorter and more compact.
Repotting Only when plant is well advanced in pot or mid-spring.
